බුද්ධ වචනය ග්‍රන්ථාරූඪ කිරීමේ විස්තරයට ගාථා දෙකකින් සෑහීමකට පත්වීම (The documentation of writing the teachings of Buddha had been limited only for two stanzas)

The documentation of the teachings of the Buddha for the first time was done in the reign of King Walagamba in Heladiva (Sri Lanka). This most significant incident which brings credits to the doctrine and as well as to the people of Lanka, had been given a least recognition by the writer of Mahavamsa (One South Indian monk, probably a Tamil) . But, an outstanding recognition had been given to Ven. Buddhagosha, the Indian Bhikku who translated Hela Atuwa (the commentaries) to Pali  language. Why?
