What is meant by Hela Attha Katha?

හෙළ අට්ඨ කතා යනු මොනවාද ?

Attha Kathaa (අට්ඨ කතා) means the story of The Eight (අටේ කතාව). This is preciously explained by the name Jaathakatthakathaa (ජාතකට්ටකථා). Jaathaka (ජාතක) + Atthakathaa (අට්ඨ කථා) means the story of The Eight which is the root of the birth.

What are these eight? This is the nest question. This analyze is done even from the beginning of The Eight. According to Dhamma, these Eight of the origination are as follows.

1.      Angulaya                                 අංගුලය

2.      Yawaya                                    යවය

3.      Ūkaawa                                   ඌකාව

4.      Likkaawa                                 ලික්ඛාව

5.      Ratharenuwa                          රථරේණුව

6.      Thajjaariya                              තජ්ජාරිය

7.      Anuwa                                     අනුව

8.      Paramaanuwa ( The Atom)    පරමාණුව

The fundamental analysis of the Dharmatha was depicted by these. This has to be explained further in details. Hela vocal signs were used to explain the Dharmatha of Heladiva from the very ancient times and that was the root cause of the relief, extinction experienced by the people lived in Dambadiva.
