What is meant by Neelaalōka?

නීලාලෝක යනු කුමක්ද?

From the most ancient times, we were possessed with a powerful strength which linked us for a  long history. This strength is not ceased even to this date. This strength cannot be compared with any other nation in the world. The main reason for this unbeatable glory was the presence of the Buddhas lived in this Kalpa i.e. an eon. As a result of not analyzing this, not focusing on a right vision, today we have become a group of blind men who try to find things in the dark. The main reason for this is the following of the path of faith, but not the path of intellectual investigation which was taught by the Buddha.

Standing on the faith and accepting the conventional belief that all the incidents related to Buddhas were occurred in India was the most serious drawback we experienced. What was mentioned in the texts, without raising any questions, was accepted as they were. The ultimate result of this was the total downfall of the thinking capability. Most of the Helayō are still stuck in this and act as the fools and slaves of the blind faith. Even building a conversation on them is considered as great sin. The path to Nirvāna that the Buddhist could have experienced had been affected drastically by this Indian Hindu invasion. We have become a group of people who are eager for the pleasures in the divine & human worlds until such time that Maithriya Buddha attends in to his enlightenment.

The ones who accept the above mentioned conventional belief with utmost faith and honor, do not accept the disclose in the Jeewak Sutta. In order to keep away the Sutta they go behind the Atuwa (Atuwā) i.e. the commentary, and it is actually an area to question.

Considering the most ancient Helaya as a land of Yaksha i.e. the demons, was a concept presented by the texts such as Rāmāyana. undoubtedly, it was their attempt to present the world that Heladiva in the time of Buddha was a place of this nature and the great sages lived in Heladiva were nobody but they were the demons. These authors had showed a keen interest and concentration more on the fact of establishing the identity of their Indian origin than the greatness of the Buddha. They made all their efforts in giving a wrong interpretation about Heladiva and to ‘seal up’ the reality as much as they could.

They have connected Siwhelaya with King Vijaya and it has been converted in to Sinhalaya.(1) Because of this, the rights of the Helaya (Helayā) had become a plunder which was crept in from nowhere. These fools cannot understand this yet and this situation is actually a heart breaking thought than a question to answer. The crawling of the history in this manner whiles accepting the wrong concepts of Kālinga actually fulfils the interests of the motherlands of Kālinga. Isn’t it?
The most gorgeous blue rays of illumination created in Heladiva after the enlightenment of the most sacred Gauthama Bosath (Bōsath) symbolized the village called “Nillak Gama”. This has been destroyed in a manner that Helaya (Helayā) had failed to understand even the meaning of this name. It should be mentioned here that this is the time to find out the ones who are responsible for this crime immediately. .

1 - Nillak Gama – Nillak is for ‘the blue rays of illumination’. Gama is for ‘the village’.
