The teachings of Buddha were preciously explained, interpreted using Attha Kathaa which were written in Hela Language. The information of the Maha Sammatha Dynasty and other historical information were included in these Attha Kathaa. i.e. the commentaries. The Mahavamsa which is currently used by us is also a modification of a commentary of this type. It contained the information over the Maha Sammatha Dynasty who had connections with the heritage of the Buddha. In order to keep away Lanka from the heritage of the Buddha or the right that it could have claimed over the Buddha, all information related to all those incidents were destroyed and it was presented as a gift from India. The great incident of writing of Tripitaka was limited for two stanzas. And in that way the greatness of this land of Hela was ruined. Not only that, the character Maithriya Bosath found in the Buddha Dhamma was connected with an Indian character having war mentality and the concept of Punyaboomi in Heladiva was totally eradicated from this land.
